Cook’s Assistant (Volunteer)
RISK ASSESSMENT: MODERATE
QUALIFICATIONS:
Be at least 16 years of age
Previous experience working in a kitchen that serves large groups of people, preferably in a camp setting is considered an asset.
Be able to follow instructions
Have BC Food Safe Certification
DUTIES:
Complete food preparation tasks as directed by the cook
Help serve food and clean up after meals
Help maintain a clean workplace and follow a cleaning schedule as outlined in the Camp Grafton Policy Manual.
When no kitchen tasks are to be completed, participate in camp activities with permission from the cook.
Model enthusiastic, mature leadership to campers and volunteers.
Be sensitive to and strive toward fulfilling the Mission of Camp Grafton.
Weekly honorarium available: $300
